요일5장에는 6절 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7절For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8절And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. 9절If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son로 각각 되어 있습니다.
7절은 분명 삼위일체를 말하고 있음에 틀림없다고 생각되지만 왜 땅위에서는 달리 표현하고 있으며, 9절은 무엇을 설명하려고 하는지 6절에서 9절까지 전체의 문맥을 가지고 해석해 주셨으면 합니다. |

다시 첫 질문으로 돌아가게 되는데 지적하신 대로 우리 성경에는 없는 [킹제임스]역본의 7절 “in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”은 ‘삼위일체’를 확실히 하고자 후대에 첨가한 것으로 주경(註經) 학자들은 주장합니다.
이 구절은 본래 신약성경이 쓰여진 헬라어 사본에는 없고[제가 가진 NESTLE-ALAND(헬라어 신약성경)에도 없습니다.] 후대의 라틴어 사본에만 있는 내용으로 같은 구절들이 [새 미국 표준 역]은 “And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth.”(NASB) [신국제어 역] “For there are three that testify”(NIV) [개역 표준 역] “And the Spirit is the witness, because the Spirit is the truth.”(RSV)
공히 우리말 개역성경처럼 7절의 “증거 하는 이는 성령이며 성령은 진리이다”라고만 기록하고 있습니다.
결국 땅에서 셋의 증거를 기록하는 것은 당시의 영지주의 자들을 마음에 두고 기록한 것으로 이해함이 옳을 것입니다.
앞의 답변처럼 예수 그리스도의 육체로 오셔서 물로서 세례 받으실 때 성령과 더불어 하늘의 음성과 피 흘림과 성령의 증거들을 증거 함으로서 영지주의자들의 육체로 오신 예수를 부인하는 것에 대한 변증입니다.
그러면서 9절의 “만일 우리가 사람들의 증언을 받을진대 하나님의 증거는 더욱 크도다 하나님의 증거는 이것이니 그의 아들에 대하여 증언하신 것이라”고 확증하는 내용입니다.
오히려 더 어렵게 만들어 드리지 않았나 걱정이군요. |
